Submission Guidelines
The 2025 Call for Abstracts is officially open!
Click the button below to submit an abstract now.
Financial Disclosure:
- Financial disclosure forms are required for each author & co-author. Your abstract will not be eligible for review until each of your co-authors has completed a disclosure form.
- The submitter is able to track the completion of disclosures and send reminder emails to co-authors within the application portal. It is the responsibility of the submitter to ensure all authors have completed his or her disclosure form.
To revisit your submission to edit or confirm that your co-authors have disclosed, log back into the submission site and find a list of all your submissions.
Adding Presenting Authors/Co-Authors:
- All abstracts require a list of all co-authors listed in publication order. The submitter will need the following information for each co-author: first name, last name, degree, email, institution, city, and country.
- All co-authors must also be assigned a role from the following options: presenting author, senior author, co-author, and submitter-only.
- Presenting Author – this is the individual that will be presenting the abstract on-site, at the 53rd Annual Meeting in Washington, DC. All communication for the abstract will be through this individual, including acceptance and rejection notifications. If you do not know who will be presenting the abstract on-site, CSRS would encourage you to choose a senior author.
- Senior Author – this individual is one of the senior contributors and will be included on correspondence throughout the Call for Abstracts process.
- Co-authors – this is the list of individuals who contributed to the project and will be included on all publication materials.
- Submitter-only – this role should only be used if the individual’s only job is to input the scientific content into the submission portal. He or she will be excluded from all publication materials.
- Drag and re-order your authorship list to reflect how you would like names to be printed in in all publications.
- Only individuals included on the abstract co-author list are eligible to be the Presenting Author at the Annual Meeting. If no one from the original author list can attend the Annual Meeting to present the abstract, it will be removed from the program.
- The author list may not be changed in any way whatsoever – no additions, removals, or re-ordering – is allowed after the Call for Abstracts closes.
